Qyliora's third pillar

MEDIATIONSame situation. Different perspectives.

When people stop understanding each other, the first step may be to understand what each person is actually seeing.

Two people sitting across a table with a numeral between them that reads as a 6 from one side and a 9 from the other.
Nobody is lying. They see the same thing from different sides.

What if the problem isn't that one of you is wrong?

Sometimes two people can experience the same situation in completely different ways. The Mediator helps you slow down, understand each other's perspective and explore what might be possible.

Listen

Neutral questions, one at a time, until the picture becomes clear.

Understand

Separate what happened, how it was experienced and what it is believed to mean.

Explore

Several possible paths, described neutrally — none recommended.

Find a way forward

Sometimes together. Sometimes separately.

Human + AI

AI helps people see what they may not have seen themselves.

Human

  • · Experience
  • · Empathy
  • · Values
  • · Context
  • · Responsibility
  • · Decisions

AI

  • · Listening
  • · Asking questions
  • · Structuring
  • · Finding patterns
  • · Finding connections
  • · Exploring alternatives

AI does not decide. People decide.

Fact — experience — interpretation

  • · What happened
  • · How I experienced it
  • · What I believe it means

“He doesn't care about me” is not treated as a fact. The Mediator asks instead: what does he do or say that makes you feel that?

Find connections

One wants more freedom. The other needs more security. It sounds different — yet both may want a relationship where they feel safe.

The common ground is brought forward without hiding the real differences.

Explore possibilities

The Mediator does not propose a solution. It describes several possible paths — neutrally.

Repair

Try to repair what broke.

Requires that both want to and have the energy.

Risk: old patterns return.

Change

Keep the relationship but change how it works.

Requires concrete, spoken changes.

Risk: the change stays words only.

New boundaries

New rules for what applies between you.

Requires both to accept the boundaries.

Risk: boundaries feel like distance.

Take a break

Pause and return later.

Requires clarity about what the pause means.

Risk: the pause becomes an undecided ending.

Go separate ways

End it and move on separately.

Requires that both can carry the loss.

Risk: a decision taken in the heat of the moment.

The goal is not to save the relationship.

The goal is to find the best way forward.

When can the Mediator be used?

Relationships

“We keep having the same argument.”

Family

“We simply can't talk about this anymore.”

Friends

“Something changed between us.”

Work

“We disagree about how this should be handled.”

Organisations

“We want different things.”

Person → couple → family → workplace → organisation → society. The process is fundamentally the same: listen, understand, find connections, explore, test, find a way forward.

Safety comes before compromise

The Mediator does not replace professional help. In situations involving threats, violence, abuse, or when someone is not safe, it does not negotiate a compromise — it points to human, professional help instead.

In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
